ABSTRACT
The main objective of this work is to describe the modification of the usability evaluation method "Thinking Aloud" to be applied to blind people; as a case study, the TalkBack service is used, with the purpose of evaluating whether the tasks of the interactive software system (SSI) of the same, are adapted to the needs of the blind user or not. The approach that was used is descriptive since we focus on the description of the activities, the process and the users without influencing in the realization of the tests. The sample of the study is 5 users, between 25 and 43 years old, of both sexes. The instruments used were: measures of performance and self-evaluation by blind users. The research allows us to conclude that based on the follow-up of the modified method for blind users for the SSI evaluation, results can be obtained that allow the developer to know if the systems meet the basic characteristics of blind users and whether it is usable or not, accessible and useful.

Key Words: IHC, evaluation method, thinking aloud, blind users
