3D printers are in themselves tools to facilitate the creation or development of new products and / or projects, so limit its use to the hours available in classrooms or workshops extends the development time of projects for which, they are being used. A remote laboratory for control and monitoring of 3d printers is an alternative to overcome these limitations, and contribute to increased functionality and availability of the monitored equipment. This paper presents a low cost remote laboratory, with the following options: user management, control of the printing system, real-time monitoring of temperature, display of the results obtained, as well as usage statistics of the system. The proposed system is based on free hardware and free software; these features facilitate its implementation.
