ABSTRACT:
In this work, experiments on the Android platform calculation of the rotation matrix and the translation vector from a pair of images using the 8-point algorithm are presented. Portability is one of the advantages of the methods that use this operating system, so use this technology is of interest to the community of computer vision. OpenCV was configured to work on Android with primitives in C ++ and it was found that the limitations of Android devices also affect the accuracy of results. A comparative table with examples in Matlab and OpenCV on Windows and Android.
